Our client are a leading Law Firm based in the heart of Warrington.  Due to workload, they now require an experienced Personal Injury Legal Secretary They are currently looking for an ambitious, highly experienced Personal Injury Legal Secretary, who is able to work within a fast paced demanding and changeable environment. The ideal candidate will be working for a really busy Associate in an exciting and challenging environment. 

As a Personal Injury Legal Secretary you will be responsible for the following tasks:

Personal Injury Legal Secretary – £18K – £21K per annum 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents and reports and court papers
  • Audio typing skills essential
  • Answering telephone calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Taking accurate and detailed telephone messages
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  • Take, type and distribute minutes of meetings
  • Implement and maintain office systems
  • Organise diaries and make appointments
  • Handle incoming mail and other material as directed
  • Maintain filing systems
  • Collate information
  • Maintain databases
  • Communicate verbally and in writing responding to enquiries
  • Using office equipment such as faxes, photocopiers, binders etc

Education & Experience:

  • Experience working as a legal secretary within the Personal Injury field
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant software applications (ideally Proclaim) spreadsheets, word processing and database management
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
  • Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills
  • Proven experience of producing legal and non legal documents and correspondence
  • Proven experience in information and communication management

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.pm
