Our client are part of a large organisation who have been established for many years, due to expansion and their large workload,  they have created a brand new role and now require a Financial Operations Administrator to work in their prestige offices in Warrington, Cheshire.  This is a really exciting time to join our client as they are acquiring other businesses and growing rapidly.  Reporting to the Financial Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for taking on a range of responsibilities for the holding company and various trading brands throughout the UK. This is an all-round Accounts role which offers a varied workload at an exciting time of the company’s development. 

Financial Operations Administrator £23k – £25k per annum

Duties will include:

  • Employee Expenses

  • Review employee expense claims

  • Ensure correct VAT receipts have been submitted

  • Verify that claims have been approved according to internal policies

  • Submit weekly payment request to Payments Clerk

  • Circulate monthly fuel reimbursement rates

  • Provide reporting on employee expenses to the business as required

  • Payroll

  • Issue employee welcome packs

  • Collate employee information to ensure completeness of records

  • Insurance o Ensure claims are reported to our insurance company in a timely manner

  • Maintain the insurance claim log, ensuring this is kept up to date

  • Maintain the Motor Insurance Database with company fleet information

  • Initial point of contact for insurance queries

  • Support the Financial Operations Manager with annual renewal of insurance

  • Payments, Circulate internal weekly cash reporting and supporting the payments clerk, to cover busy periods and holidays

  • General Administration – point of contact for general office telephone and email queries

  • Support the Financial Operations Manager with ad-hoc projects

  • Order office stationery and dealing with all other General office admin duties as required

The ideal candidate will be or have been an Accounts or Financial Administrator and will hold the below experience:

  • Previous all round Accounts experience or and Financial Administration experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Accounts Administrator 
  • Confident with Microsoft Excel
  • Organised and methodical
  • Excellent telephone manner 
  • Positive and proactive approach
  • Excellent attention to detail 

Hours of work:     Monday to Friday 8.45am – 5pm  (1 hour lunch)
